Q: Will you inform the person I'm
researching that I am getting information on him/her?
A: No. We have a strict Privacy

Q: What is in your Members' Area?
How does it work?
A: In our Members' Area we brought together in
one place numerous search sites, databases and resources so you can perform an online do-it-yourself investigation. Many of our links are to state and federal records sites, and some are private
databases maintained by data aggregators generally used by licensed
private investigators and law enforcement. BackgroundSearcher.com
is a collection of links to search sites, databases, and resources that you can
use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
While there are links to search sites, databases and resources in our Members' Area that don't
require the payment of additional fees, in the interest of making
our offerings as complete as possible we also list numerous search sites, databases
and resources that charge extra fees.

Will
I be able to find the person I'm looking for?
A: Some people are easier to find than others.
If someone is determined to hide, it will be far more challenging
to find him/her than if the person is just a "regular"
person who is using regular phone lines, credit cards, has a state-issued
driver's license, etc. We cannot guarantee that you will find anything on the person you are researching; you just have to try and see what you can find.
Q: Are there any additional fees
in the Members' Area?
A: Many of the search sites, databases and resources in our Members' Area are
searchable by our members at no additional charge for limited information;
however there are also a number of search sites, databases and resources in our Members' Area
that do charge additional fees because of the extraordinary detail
of the records.
Q: Do I need special computer software
to access the search sites, databases and resources in your Members' Area?
A: No. You can use any ordinary computer, Windows
or Mac.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards, and we can
take online checks as well.
Q: Can you describe your guarantee?
A: Our payment processor will, at its option, replace
or repair any defective product within 8 weeks from the date of
purchase. After 8 weeks all sales are final. This applies to membership
to our site only. BackgroundSearcher.com does not guarantee that
you will be able to find out anything about the particular person
you are looking for.
Q: Why should I use your service
rather than a live private investigator?
A: Licensed private investigators can charge up
to $100 per hour, and some charge more. These days many private investigators
do much of their background-check work online using the same search sites, databases and resources
we have in our Members' Area. Our goal is to bring these tremendous
search tools to everyone, because we believe that the truth is the
most important thing there is.
